Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you use Bluprynt, we collect:

• Account data: email, name, password hash (via Supabase Auth), company details you choose to provide.
• Content you upload: plan PDFs, proposals, price lists, attachments.
• Usage data: estimates run, pages viewed, feature interactions, IP address, browser type.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store a customer ID and subscription state; card details never touch our servers.

2. How We Use It

• To operate the Service — running AI estimates, storing your projects, generating proposals and exports.
• To bill you and support subscription management.
• To communicate — account notifications, receipts, critical service updates.
• To improve the Service — diagnosing bugs, measuring feature adoption, training internal matching heuristics on aggregated, de-identified data.

3. Sub-processors

We rely on third parties who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication, database hosting, file storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Anthropic — AI model inference for estimate analysis. Per Anthropic's policy, API data is not used to train models.
• Stripe — payment processing.

Each sub-processor is bound by its own privacy and data-processing terms.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the sub-processors listed above, with service providers under contract (e.g., email delivery), when required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice to affected users).

5. Retention

We keep your content and account data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except records we must retain for legal or accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years for billing records).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact support@bluprynt.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Children

Bluprynt is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect.
